Today has been a very busy day. Speeches have been written, posters created, games designed and finished, roles discussed, movies published and so much more! Even our director Dr. Andy was spotted in the photocopy room, a previously unheard of occurrence. We even have video evidence below. Some students will be reflecting for homework on the day and adding their comments later.
Today Shane gathered a bunch of people to talk about giving speeches. There were so may choices I could not choose one at first,. Sidhonie made her first choice and she made a good choice. I felt a little scared about the choice if someone was going to take one I wanted. In the middle Shane told us that we could say more than one speech. For one of the speeches no one wanted it then I think Dorothy and Phoebe were risk-takers and said that they would say it. I think that i am going to be nervous because I am saying two speeches just on a stage. I think that when I make my speech I am going to be a good communicator and say it well.
Today was another exhibition morning. What we had to do was to make sure EVERYTHING was done because on Wednesday there will be no time to make any changes to the poster or the table. Wednesday is the day where we set up. We were all in a rush trying to get everything done, all the final touches, getting everything printed out and making sure we had everything we needed to make this exhibition perfect. My group made seed boxes to give out, but we realized we are not aloud to give out anything in the exhibition because everyone will come to your table just to get prizes and not to learn about what we are doing. So, we had an idea to just give it to our mentors and people in our class so that we are still taking action. I love all the ideas that the teachers gave us like, you could do and experiment to show your action. I thought that was a great idea. We are finishing off all the adverts that people had no time to do or one or two of their members where missing on the day before. Everyone is excited about the exhibition which is just two days away. We all want our stand to be the one where everyone is coming to. To do that, some people made games to attract the little kids. Our T-shirts are done and they look great. Lots of people stayed in to do extra work for the exhibition. I am sure that this exhibition will be the best one out of all!
Today all of the students are busy making the final arrangements for their presentations. The classroom is a hive of activity as can be seen from the video below. We're also busy preparing speeches for the evening presentation, more details will be coming soon.
